What good basketball playbook software does

The best playbook tools solve three problems for coaches: making it fast to draw any play, keeping your library of plays organized, and making it easy to share with your team. OpenDraw is built around that workflow — nothing more, nothing less.

What OpenDraw includes

• Play diagram editor

Draw offensive and defensive plays on a basketball court. Add player routes, arrows, screens, and text annotations. Works on any device.
• Playbook organizer by team and season

Keep every play in one place. Organize by team and season, search by name, and build a complete playbook you can revisit and update at any time.
• PDF export

Export any play or your entire playbook as a clean, professional PDF. Share with your coaching staff or print for practice — one click.
• Cloud sync

Your plays are saved to the cloud automatically. Access your full playbook from any device — at home, at the gym, or on the road.
• Mobile-friendly

Full functionality on phones and tablets. Browse your playbook, review plays, and manage your system from anywhere.

How OpenDraw compares to other basketball playbook tools

Most basketball playbook software requires desktop installation or a heavier upfront commitment. OpenDraw is different - it is fully web-based and free to start.

Built for coaches at every level

OpenDraw is used by youth coaches, high school and college programs, and independent trainers. Whether you're building your first playbook or managing a full season system across multiple teams — the tool scales with your workflow without adding complexity.
